There have been reports coming in for awhile now saying that the Windows Eee PC is going to cost the consumer less money then the one pre-installed with Linux. The only difference in the two is that the Linux version has eight more gigabytes of hard drive space. I for one don't believe that 8GBs of space is worth the fifty dollar difference. However all of these reports that I have seen are coming from Australia and everyone knows that they like to charge more then a lot of other places so for me at least it is still to be seen if the Windows version will be cheaper then the Linux version and if so by that amount.
